Can I suggest using our AcryliSeal 3501. While you can use any acrylic, the smaller the molecule of acrylic the more penetration you will get. The deeper the penetration the more strength you will put into that top layer. (Our AcryliSeal 3501 is the first nano-polymer Acrylic to be commercialized.)

While AcryliSeal is a little more expensive than your average acrylic... the performance is exponentially greater.

Don't worry, it's just that the top of your concrete slab dried out a bit too fast and you got a mesh of tiny hairline cracks. These do not hurt the structure or strength of the slab.

Acid staining may look incredible on that slab.

Ohhh... I bet it would...

There are acids mixed with different metals that stain concrete. The only problem is that you've already acid washed. IF... IF... IF you've removed the 'cream' layer then the acid stain won't react and won't color. You may not have removed enough for that to happen. But, it's cheap enough that it would be a low dollar risk to try. Once you acid stain... then you neutralize... rinse... Apply AcryliSeal 3501 on top to protect it.

Good thinking garageguy...

Hey not to hi jack this thread, but would you need to seal the acid wash with metals in it to maintain the color or not? I am talking about my outside cement patio btw. Thanks.

Yes... You may notice as you go into restaurants that have acid stained floors that there is a black path where people walk. Once the sealer wears away it just starts looking nasty as dirt settles in the concrete pores.
