Concrete cure time

I just poured a shower pan yesterday for a restroom I'm remodeling, my question is how long should I wait before I can lay the rubber liner over the new concrete? The new concrete is about 3 to 4" thick. See attached picture please.

Now I believe, the slower it cures the slower it dries the better.

For something like a driveway, "full" cure is 28 days.

The concrete should be (and looks like it from the picture) set enough within 24 hours to handle foot traffic w/o damage. Putting the rubber over it will only help the concrete, as it will slow the cure down by helping trap the moisture in.

Thanks joes169, I hadn't thought about it that way but you're right. Now I can continue with that work and I don't have to wait to put the cement board. Thanks.
