I'm looking for a 5/32" or a small set of concrete drill bits for a impact driver with a 1/4" quick release chuck. The only ones I've found are the DEWALT DW2571 3 Piece Rotary Masonry Drill Bit Set. Have not read good reviews on these. Would really like to buy a hand full of 5/32 ones. Thank you, Chris

A 5/32 masonery bit is the standard bit used to set TapCons (they also use a 3/16 for thier bigger product). Go to the Home Depot bolt section and look where they sell TapCons and Redhead concrete anchors. Tapcon sells the bit with their kits and individual bits. I dont know who makes the bits for Tapcon but i can tell you that I can set a hundred or so TapCons in concrete block with one of their 5/32 and not have to replace it. They are a little $pendy because they are sold to be used with TapCons and have their name on them, but they are good.
Crank the drills hammer setting and speed up and they will cut like butter.

Sorry. I see know that you need 1/4 hex shank on the 5/32 bit. I appologize.

I did a ton of Tapcons last year (500 screws in a floor) and all can say if your doing a lot of them is rent a rotohammer! Everything else takes to long and the hole doesn't have (least in my experience) good quality for the screw to bit. I also second the Bosch...still went through tons of bits. Also Fastners has great prices on TapCons. Just my two-cents.
