So this winter we had some snow a couple of times here in North Carolina. Usually when this happens the snow accumulates and then melts. Well it was cold enough that it accumulated and then thawed some and refroze. The house driveway is a little over 8 years old but the shop concrete is about 2 years old.
The shop concrete was made in 2 pours and the first pour experience extreme spalling after this snow fall. I have been waiting on a response from the Concrete Company and the Concrete Subcontractor. I finally received it and it was pretty much what I expected. They only cover materials and labor for 12 months. Has anyone any experience with concrete that has failed in such a short period of time? Thank you.
