Concrete Finish Question

I'm not sure what if any type of coating, tile or whatever I may use on my concrete.

My question is will a smooth finish be fine if I decide to use epoxy?

Go with a troweled finish on interior concrete. Broom finish for exterior concrete unless it is being stained and stamped.

I did a broom finish on my garage floor as I will be doing an epoxy type finish. Its pretty smooth and will get smoother looking as I epoxy it. It will be less slippery when damp or wet also.

My next door neighbor has a troweled glass finish and I think he's going to have a hard time finishing it unless he blasts it now.
