Exterior apron or driveway to the shop? Broomed finish.

Another vote with the above. Just make sure you use a finisher who knows the difference

I told the finisher I wanted the last 6' headed out the door broom finished and the rest like glass.

I vote all smooth so you can actually use a broom inside at the door . A broom finish inside will create grief when youre cleaning up. Absolutely broom finish on the apron.

Smooth on floor and apron. Broom finish is difficult to clean well.

Another vote for smooth inside and broom outside. If the apron gets too dirty, pressure wash it once a year.

Broom finish gives more traction on wet surfaces. On dry, smooth is better.

Smooth on both. Snow and rain are both pretty rare here. Dirt is not.
