Concrete finishing cost

I know you guy's usually hate these kind of questions, but because of some, let's say creative differences between the GC and myself, it looks like I'll be doing all of the prep work for the slab myself, ie. the vapor barrier, insulation, wire, yada yada yada. The concrete itself I can figure seperately. What I'm looking for is a ball park on the labor to pour and finish it. It's 1600 sq. ft., 6" thick #4000, power trowled and will be pumped in so there won't be too much wheeling to do, if any. Guesstimate ?

Typically if you do ALL the prep, and just have the mud delivered and finished, labor is between $1.50 and $3 a square foot.

I am paying 5500 for 1700 sqft of 4" 4000 psi with wire mesh and rebar. The finish should almost shine based on some of the other jobs i have checked out my sub has done. We prepared/leveled the base ourselves and installed the drains. So take the concrete cost out and i am paying about 2800 for pouring, finishing, wire mesh and rebar. Yours is 2" thicker but i dont think this would add too much labor. From other posts it seems PA is more expensive than the indiana area though.

I recently had a 27'x25' 6" 4,000psi slab poured with tons of rebar and huge footings around the perimeter and the total charge was right at $7K.It was power-trowled and the saw cuts were made 48 hrs later.

That is just shy of 18 yards of mud...

I guess it'll depend on how reputable the people are. Are they insured, have they been around for a while?
I had my brother do mine (he's been in the concrete business for 7+ years).
for a 30x36 4" deep, I paid $1230 for concrete and 700 for labor, troweling and cuts included (he said any other job he'd have charged almost twice that).

Even at double the $700 rate, it comes out to $1.29 sq. ft. That I can handle, that $3.00 deal...

I managed to swing mine for an even $1 per square foot for finishing. All done by hand. The guy was a MACHINE

Concrete @ $100 a yard delivered ran me about $1300. (12.5 yards)
Flat work @ $1 per square foot about $750 (24x30)
