Concrete floor finish options

Hey guys building a new house and detached 2k sf. garage and looking for concrete floor finish options. I have currently an epoxy floor and although nice it does wear and shows signs of use with chipping and such so I don’t want this again.

I use the garage a lot; I build diesel trucks and diesel generators so it gets dirty. I was thinking of just having it polished and sealing it? Don't want to add a lot of cost if possible so some type of concrete preparation is what I am hoping for.

Not really sure but for sure the fresh new concrete soaks up oil and grime like a sponge. Any suggestion?

Latiseal. From Radonseal

I used the one with a colored stain to it, but basically it is a densifier, sealer, stain.

+3 on the densifier.

I have this on my floor and have no efflorescence (most if not all of my neighbors do) and get minimal staining from spilled oil, etc. I've considered other more decorative finishes like epoxy and VCT but keep coming to the conclusion that the appearance benefits are more than offset by probable maintenance concerns. My floor isn't the most beautiful but it looks good is very serviceable. I don't want a maintenance headache.
