I am looking at grinding my concrete and then sealing it smooth. I have an uncle that owns a hotrod shop and he had it done and then sealed and it is great. Absolutley no dust and the floor sweeps up great. I am wordering if anyone has ever done this and or used the machines and the abrasives that they rent at The Home Depot. This will be brand new concrete and I just want to make it smooth. Do I need to use water when I do it? Sorta like wet sanding on a car? Any help would be great. Its 700 SF one single car and a detached double car.

Thanks for the help.

3M makes a product for this. You can find it on their website for commerical applications. They should also have link to local installers.
