So I have 4 anchor pots and a floor drain. None are quite level with the floor so I want to chamfer them to make them look better (and maybe minimizing chipping later).
New concrete, 30 days old, cured under plastic with tons of water.
I plan to DIY copper stain.
I was going to chamfer, stain, harden. Then I got to thinking, would I be better off staining and hardening and then doing the chamfer? I could go back and touch up the stain a bit and spot harden the chamfer. I would think hardened concrete may chamfer better (but am just guessing).
Which is the best way? Harden and chamfer or chamfer and harden? Am I overthinking it?
thanks,
j
