Had a couple pits poured to facilitate flush mount of a Bendpak XP-7S car lift. It involves 2 side by side 6" deep pits with a connecting groove on one end. The problem is one of my pits is too deep and its not very smooth and I need to raise it anywhere from 0" to 1/2" and get it level. Looking for advice on what material to use. The pit is about 2' wide by 9' long.
I was thinking a mortar mix but was asking at a local hardware type store and the guy suggested I use a blend of cement/sand mix with an epoxy. Via that, it would bond to the existing concrete. He suggested a Sika epoxy called Hi-Mod. He was thinking mix it up and trowel it smooth.
What do you guys suggest? Anybody ever use that stuff?
Thanks.
