I’ve been reading on various posts about concrete patching and prep before epoxy coating. It seems as though most are using some type of an epoxy patch for repair of cracks and minor surface damages. What products is everyone using for their repairs? I went to Home Depot and Lowe’s and could not find any type of epoxy for concrete repair. All I found was some DAP Ready-Mixed Concrete Patch, but I think the product will take some amount of cure time and will not be nearly as strong (I could be wrong though). I want to repair some small “divots” in the floor surface and some of the imperfections/damages to the footings on the two side walls of the garage. On these footings the patches would be both horizontal and vertical.
Rust-Oleum has a Concrete Patch & Repair kit that sounded like what I needed. It is strong and cures fast. I would like to try and start the floor covering this weekend (depending of weather), but cannot find this product locally in St. Louis. I’m not sure if this is the right product or if there would be a different or better option.
If this is the best product I guess I could spring for the extra shipping costs or if someone in the STL knows where I could get it locally that would be great. I guess I am basically looking for opinions and options.
