Here is a photo of my garage floor.
I am removing a god awful substance that the builder
covered up his mistakes with. Removing
this "lava rock" has created some scarring.
I need a great quality concrete patch. I plan on resurfacing the floor
( sanding) before painting. What is a good product?

What system are you going to use for the "painting". Are you going to use a epoxy?

Fred from AlphaGarage can chime in, but they have some great products for filling before epoxy.

Also, you can use the Racedeck over the top of it and just forget about it.

My ideal floor would be a heavy duty epoxy floor paint.
I also like the tile look. I do a lot of car maintenance work
so I want a floor that can take a hot tire and a floor jack rolled
across it. My concrete is in very poor condition, cracks , chips
etc. I might have to use tiles. The floor is not very smooth nor
overly level. Basically I have a POS concrete garage floor.

I dream and really like the other guys postings with the painted floor.
That is my wish, not sure where to go from here.

Included are some pictures of my "problem" areas.
The darker stuff is the "lava rock" **** I am scrapping off the floor.
You can see where the builder screwed up and a tension cable is exposed.

This top layer of stuff is very hard very brittle and extremely hard to remove.
I am now down to a chisel and hammer to pick the area clean.
