What products are available to use to repair chips, holes, etc. that would be compatible with a clear finish (not sure which one yet) that would look the best when finished? I have a bunch of smaller areas 1"-2" diameter where carpet strips and walls were nailed down. I also have a couple of large areas 2'x2'+ where the house was leveled years ago. It appears they bolted a core drill to the floor to cut out the perimeter of the hole and when finished left the "new" concrete slightly lower than the existing surface. Both of these areas will be covered with area rugs, but the smaller stuff is mostly along perimeter walls. I was thinking of maybe hydraulic cement? I understand that whatever I use its going to be noticeable. The rest of the floor is super nice. When they talked to the epoxy floor contractor they got a quote from, he told them it would not look good to do a clear finish. I wasnt part of the conversation, only reviewed the quote. Basically he would do a solid color in 2 days, Day 1 is fill. grind and prep, Day 2 is color. I am guessing its going to be a rough grind and filled smooth with whatever product he is using (epoxy, polyurea, etc). On a DIY side I would be cleaning and prepping but not doing any major grinding and use one of the products that doesnt require grinding. Im not trying to compare apples to apples, only giving them another option.

Hi, you could use our Epoxy Mortar for this. Stronger than concrete, easy to apply and grind smooth and has a 'natural' look to it and uses a clear resin binder.

I see it comes in different colors. Does the natural concrete have a mixture of the light and dark gray with it?
