Concrete patio question..

This is my patio we had built last week. I thinks it's bad. There will be a flower box built with 4x4s around the two side filled with rocks and dirt held in by rebar. What should I do, will it be ok.

Hmmmm I'm not a concrete guy. But, at bare minimum I would get something under the voids in that slab... Again, I am not a concrete guy nor am I an engineer but I think over the long haul that would cause a problem. In the short term, it's a not so nice to look at.

It looks bad. I would guess, since there is not compacted base under the concrete, probably no reinforcement bars either. Did the rock just slide out from underneath?

There are bars, but I guess they just compressed it with a hand stamper, you know one of those poles with a square plate on it.

What color stain did you go with on the patio? It looks nice . . . any other pics?
