Concrete Prep Spalling before Epoxy

I have a 4 car garage with 1.5 bays that are 27 feet deep and planning on doing an Epoxy coating on my floor this Spring and Summer. Planning on doing it in sections so all my cars / tools don't have to stay outside during the coating process, stopping at the cuts in the concrete for the sections.

There are spots where salt during the winter has damaged the edge of the floor just outside the garage door leaving some fairly deep spalling holes / chucks missing. Any suggestions on the best way to fill these before coating that won't have adhesion problems where the repairs are made? I'm planning on coating to the very edge of the slab which extends a few inches beyond the door outside. Also, any special prep work that's needed on the recommended fill technique?

Holes need to be filled with a gel or sand based filler.
You can apply an epoxy slurry (resin with flour sand) to the greater area and flat blade it across with a rubber squeegee. Coat your project the next day and you should be good.

Thanks guys! What's a good sand based or gel filler and where would I get it? Any required curing time prior to coating?

Epoxy Coat is one I am looking at but open to other suggestions - The edge that is outside the garage that is spalling will be exposed to sub -20F temps annually here in Iowa, and I do want to Epoxy it also to hide the patch work.

Any epoxy outside the door, exposed to UV light will amber over time. Keep this in mind unless you plan on coating over top with a polyurea.
