Concrete question

I'm building concrete piers (6 in all) for my garage project. I've measured up the concrete former box volumes, and it comes to 1 cubic meter.

Anybody got an idea how much it would cost to get this small amount delivered? Pro's being it would be the right strength (C30+) already and no mixing work required by me! Or do I just do it myself? I can borrow an electric mixer. UK based (Hampshire).

Alot of times, here in the US, you can get an undersized load but there is an a minimum charge.

That minimum charge is equal to 3-5 yards (meters) of concrete. This is why guys figure out what they need and adjust the size or thickness to take advantage of the minimum load.

Me, for something like that, I'd mix my own, adding extra Portland cement as I tossed bags on concrete mix in the mixer.

Don't ask.
A couple times when I needed "short loads" I was able to find someone nearby with the same situation so we arranged teh pours on the same day and split a load. Even shared some of the labor.

Think of any other places you could use concrete... Pad for LP tank, pad at bottom of deck stairs, etc.

Can you rent a trailer and haul it your self?

Get a mixer, either rent or buy, and return or sell the mixer when you are done with it.
