Looking to put up my metal building soon. Most likely 30x40.
Looking for recommended concrete contractor in the Austin area.

Any idea what it is running per sq foot?

Attached is one scenario. The cost of concrete is more the limiting factor in size.

Thank you in advance.

John

John,

Give Wade a call. He owns TICO constructions and has done all my concrete work. They do a lot of metal building slabs. He just finished 2000sf of flat work (patio) for me this last month. He is out a couple of months on work but it may give you an idea. For price per sf its hard to say without knowing the slope of the land and how much fill etc to bring in. If I remember right I paid about $7.50 for my garage slab. It had a 18" raised beam on the back. Let Wade Know Jim from Dripping Springs sent you.

Are you in Austin or outside Austin? Makes a big difference, lots of guys dont like working inside Austin city limits and messing with city. We typically won't do work inside Austin. I use Force Concrete for my slabs, will pm you his contact info.

Nighttrain, good to see another Drip guy here.
