I want to repair all the divots and imperfection in our concrete floor in our garage, what would be the better product to use for here in the Northeast where the floor goes thru extreme temp changes? Cement type of product or epoxy patch?
Some are a few inches deep but most are 1/8 to 1/4" deep.

Photos included.

What the heck happened to that floor?

20+ years of salt damage.
Winter in Northern New England (Maine) is tough on concrete (and vehicles. Not many southern vehicles need brake lines, fuel lines, rocker panels etc replaced too often do they...).

I WILL turn it around and it WILL look much better once I'm finished with it this late summer.
I'll post before, during and after pics for sure.

Not sure how far you want to get in to it, but...

The structure of the slab looks pretty good. You could probably get a professional in to use a commercial grade re-surfacer across the whole thing. (Then epoxy coat it, etc. and have it looking like new.)

There are do-it-yourself products out there (with safer chemicals/components) but if you want longevity, you might be better off having someone come in to do it.

What about using a grinder to clean it up a bit and then you won't need as much product.

Thats exactly what I am planning on doing to the whole floor, I'm going to rent a big floor grinder (propane powered) and going to grind the whole thing and then patch it all, regind lightly afterwards and then epoxy primer, epoxy, sprinkle flakes and top coat then drink beer snap pics and hopefully be very pleased with the end results.
It's been VERY humid here lately so I will wait for a little dryer weather to get grinding and patching.
