Hey all,
After about 6+ hours I finally finished grinding my garage floor in prep for epoxy.. Phew. It looks great and am happy with how it turned out. I've an order with Alpha Garage for their 3 Layer Partial Flake epoxy system. I was doing some reading in the instructions and saw that after grinding, the floor should be pretty rough and feel similar to 80 grit sandpaper. I immediately went out to the garage, swiped it with my hand, and to my dismay, definitely not feeling like 80-grit. It feels more like 120, maybe ever a little smoother. Is this going to be a problem if left as-is?
If it helps, here is the grinder I rented from Home Depot: EDCO 10" Floor Grinder
I'll also attach some photos, but, they are a little hard to see the roughness.
Thanks in advance!
