What is everyones preferred method of applying concrete sealer/hardener?

I'm going to seal my floor and people have recommended pouring it directly on the floor and use a soft broom to work it into the surface. Others have recommended using a paint roller.

If it is thin enough you can use a pump-up deck sprayer to apply. Beyond that a roller will work.

We've always just poured it out and then used a paint roller on a long handle and rolled
it out. If you use a sprayer think about the clean up if using a solvent based product.
We always use a cheap roller cover and just pitch it when done.

Just finished my second and final coat. I just poured it down on the concrete and used a soft bristled broom to sweep it around making sure there was no pooling.

Do I need to wash the surface down after it is fully dry?

The floor will be getting 2 coats of epoxy.
