Anyone have a recommendation for a concrete sealer?

I'm about a month out from closing on my new house/shop - and I want to get something down to protect the concrete from my hobby... tearing **** apart!

I've been to Lowe's and checked out there various concrete sealers - and they all seem to be about the same installation process and wanted to see if anyone had any feed back.

My overall plan is to get some form of sealer down - then order up some kind of RaceDeck material.

I plan on installing my MaxJax lift in my new shop as I have several projects pending: blower for the c6, and a big brake kit for my SS, turbo replacement for my truck.

TrueLock B4 is marketed specifically for what you are doing. It is a combination of a densifier, a waterproofer and a penetrating sealer specifically designed to protect concrete from freeze thaw and water damage when used under a tile or mat system.

If you want a more complete stain protection system you should consider the TL37 followed by TL40 OR TL37 followed by Ghosttek 8505 (two coats).

The goal here is to protect the concrete in two ways. You want to densify it but you also want a long lasting sealer that will penetrate.

When my concrete was poured, they seal it with Diamond Seal, which came from the local concrete place.....not a box store. It was $161 for 5 gallons, and is put down with a sprayer. It's basically a plastic coating, and is used to help cure concrete by sealing in the moisture. I like it because it makes things easy to wipe up and water will bead up on it. Be forewarned though....it will ruin a sprayer if not cleaned out promptly afterwards.

Is this what they used?

OP:
A sealer rich with siloxane is a very good choice for such an application.
It will resist the liquids and also reduce the porosity and texture of the concrete.
