Hi Guys—

Need some advice— going to use Legacy’s Delta Dye on my newly poured floor (6 months ago). I PM’d with Legacy an they mentioned 2 sealers. The HD 6600 or the SEC sealer. Not sure which one to go with.

Here are my questions:

- Which sealer do you recommend?
- do I need to etch my floor? I washed it out last week with a hose and it absorbed the water really well.

Thanks for the help— want to order soon to take advantage of the Black Friday pricing!

HD6600 is one of the most durable MMA acrylic sealers that you can apply. It's also U.V. stable. If the concrete accepts the stain, then it will accept HD6600 with no further prep.

SEC is an epoxy. It will provide for a thicker coating and will be more durable than HD6600. However, it will require that you etch first before you stain in order for the SEC to adhere properly. Lastly, SEC is not U.V. stable.

I have never used 6600 before. However, a friend of mine was talking about it. He also mentioned something about the 6600. I think it's pretty good for this job.
