Hi, a treatment will help to protect your floor. There are a wide variety of treatments, and if you read through the thousands of posts here you will get about that many suggestions!
As a large supplier of these products there are basically three popular treatments.
1. Topcoat epoxy or polyaspartic/polyrea systems. These come in a wide variety of looks, thicknesses, and price points. Being topical they do an excellent job of protecting the surfaces. Examples of this would be our
www.armorcladepoxy.com or our SPGX one part Polyurea. We also offer them in metallic looks which are popular. These are tried and true systems but require prep and normally multiple layers and days to complete.
2. Penetrating sealers. These are products that 'soak into' the floor and do not change the look at all but they do a good job of preventing oils and fuels from penetrating into the floor a lot. Good for use when welding a lot since there is nothing topical to burn.
3. Sealers-These are also topical but thinner and normally offer less protection at a lower price. The one exception to this is our BallistiX sealer which there are a number of recent posts here from us which offers incredible protection with no prep normally required.
All of these products and solutions are on our website at
www.armorpoxy.com. If you need assistance please email us directly (not PM please) or call us.
