Concrete Stain, densifier, and sealer

I am looking to do something to my floor in a 16x24 garage. Going to be updating for working on cars. Insulation, heat, etc. I don't want to do epoxy. Can I stain the floor then put down a densifier and a sealer?

Looking to keep it low cost, add some color, and protect from oil stains.

I have old VW's. They drip oil. I want to be able to clean it off and avoid stains.

Can I do this?
What products do you recommend?

You can but a penetrating product will not make the stain look amazing and penetrating products are not the best guards against stains.

I would go Delta-Dye with HD6525MMA Sealer over top.
Great combo, budget friendly.

I did acid stain and 4 different colors sprayed random. Really breaks up the patterns. Also used Ghostshield 4500 densifier and Ghostshield 8505 sealer. So far nothing has stuck to it and I have been rebuilding tractors in there. If something does stain it, and that’s a big if. The random stain pattern would hide it quite well. One of the vendors here carries the products. Google it for more info.

Generally speaking a penetrating sealer is not the best choice over an acid stain. something with a little gloss really does a better job.

Out of town on a job. But I agree could use more gloss. The idea was to hide the stain that eventually will show up. I know I will be the one guy that will use something that stains it. I have posted some pics in other threads. Would like to try and burnish it but not sure if that would work or help.

I see this sealer comes in colors.
Why would you stain then use a colored sealer. What is the advantage?

Solid color look vs. translucent. Stain is not consistent, artistic look.
