Concrete Thickness and Coverage Questions

I am a newbie in the garage business just recently started opening my own. I am installing a few lifts on a floor that is somewhat old and has 4 inch thickness. I wondered if even if I believe this meets minimum requirements should some metal plating be fitted under the posts considering they are 2 posts overhead type lifts and I don't want to crack the floor I am putting in 6 lifts.

I also have been wondering about an economic way of covering the floor for protecting contaminating the building since I got about 8700 sf to cover I think epoxy would be costly.

I would suggest you contact the lift manufacturer and get their
recommendation as it will affect any warranties they may issue.
Especially when you want 6 installed.
