Condensate line size MrCool?

Does anyone know the size of the vinyl condensate tubing on a MrCool 36,000 btu unit. I need to install one in an interior wall so I can proceed with building out the wall and wall board as far as possible while waiting on the units to arrive. The sales rep says 1/2" which sounds small. I remember reading on here somewhere that it is 5/8.

Can you stub it out in pvc or copper,then just shove the drain hose into it?
I'd run it in atleast 3/4-1" pipe myself,that way you can blow it out and not worry about it kinking/getting blocked inside of wall.
Then I'd just shove the vinyl into the end of it.

I installed a 24000 BTU DYI single head last summer, here's the drain hose that came with it. Looks like about 11/16".

I never have done a Mr. Cool, but many of their units are built by Gree and they use a 5/8" drain line. In fact all the mini spits I worked on over the years had 5/8" drain lines.

5/8" would be a safe bet!

I found a roll of what looks like 1" flexible pvc conduit in my barn and after determining size for sure will likely be going ahead and running that in and either running the MrCool line down it or tying it into it. Thanks

Hard pipe or just a soft drain tube? Drain tube is probably 5/8". Code for hard pipe condensate drains is 3/4" minimum. My kitchen mini split is 5/8" tube out through the wall, down inside the line set cover and then goes into 3/4" PVC along the foundation to route it away from the house.

Here it is, installed. Turned out to to be 3/4” electrical conduit and LUCKILY there was just enough on the roll I found to run the length, not 2” left over. The unit is mounting on the other side of this wall, the drain line will run down to meet this and the line set, up into and through the top plate, take a right over to the eave and down the exterior of the east wall.
