"C" vent to "B" vent connector, or single wall to "B" vent if you like. It's sort of a sleeved piece that transitions the two styles of vent.

Hmmmmmmmmm been doing installs for close to 20 years and have always slid the single wall into the double wall and tied together with 3 screws ( passed every inspection so far ) .

Hey Rick, it went pretty good. The hardest part was cutting the hole out a "little" more to get the larger thimble in. I made sure all the joints were slid in good. I went 3 inch elbow off the machine to the 3" to 4" connector. Then that went into the B vent directly without crimping. Very snug...Added a couple screws and its not going anyplace. I ran it all day and didnt see any condensation anyplace. By having to use the 3" to 4" connector that i didnt have that added some more legnth, so i think its good now. Wanted to thank you again Rick , for walking me through this, took my time and got it done! Even built a fence panel in the warmth to keep the pups in the yard! P.S. The top of the heater in the picture, the tinfoil/insulation has come loose.....Whats the cure?

Lee the insulation should just tuck back in there where it dropped down from . Also you need 3 screws per joint on the single wall where it starts at the heater , where the 90 goes into the 3-4" transition and where the 3-4" goes into the double wall. Looks great by the way good to hear you have heat again and no issues with the condensation.

Good deal Lee one more little nit pick and I will let you go back in the warm garage :D. Your gasline going into the heater ( the flex should stop before it enters the furnace ) . This should be easy to solve with a short black iron ****** from the gas valve to outside the heater cabinet :D.

Rick: He could use the straight piece of ****** from the wall section if it's the same size. If he would do that then he would just have to purchase a st ell to change direction out of his drip leg to correct it while he's at it.
I guess I'm just the drip leg Police on this site.
Just my $.O2

Nope just m easure from the gas valve to the side of the cabinet and get a ****** an inch longer than that . You will also need a coupler since the flex line screws into the gas valve . Take the flex line loose at the gas valve . Install the ****** into the gas valve then put the coupler on the end of it and reinstall the flex line into the coupler :D.
