i have a buddy that just bought a food truck. for those that don't know what a food truck is, it a truck that sells food on the side of the road.
well he has a R12 Condensing Units that is way low on charge, it runs on 120vac. but while he is driving it runs on r134 by the way of a separate system.
i want to know if i can convert the R12 system to R134 and what is the down sides?
i told him that i will get prices on new Condensing Units that are set up for R134 or other refrigerants. but what do i have to change if i change the Condensing Unit, i think the TXV will have to be changed?
i am not to bright on this side of the industry so any help will be appreciated
