To get ready for the detached garage expansion, I need to pull a different feeder.
After researching here, I have decided to use the much loved compacted AL 2/2/2/4 MHF because I need to pull it across the crawl space, then underground to the detached garage. Of course it will be in conduit inside (and probably underground as well for extra protection).
So my question is about the junction point between the outside and inside of both buildings. I've used the type LB in the past, but with fat wire like this, I'm guessing a pull elbow would be better, right?
Is it better to use larger conduit just for these corners?
Is a slip joint required at both buildings?
I can see wrestling with the MHF in a 2" corner, the 8-3 was bad enough in the LB.
Honestly, I've never seen a pull elbow larger than 3/4, but I haven't been looking for larger in the past.
