I’m trying to lay out the conduit run from my conex to the shop. The main panel, batteries, and the inverters are in the conex powered by solar.
The lines have to pass through a concrete wall into the garage. And the sub panel will be mounted right on the wall once the lines pass through.
My question is whether I need to count the sub panel as another 90 degree turn? Or can I pull the wires straight through the wall, then mount the panel and feed them down from the top of the panel box?
Related, I’ve not paid attention, but are there sub panels with knockouts in the back? That is, where I could pass through the wall an directly through the back of the panel box?
Having one less 90 would be a big help.
