Gearing up to start trenching and looking for some opinions on setup. Going to do 100 amp panel in garage 50 feet from house. At garage I will come up and LB into the garage. Panel will be surface mount with feed at bottom for looks. Does that 90 need to be steel as it could be hit with rolling carts and such?
At the house I’m going to take out some field stones and use another LB. but not sure if I should go down and bury (dirt floor) or go up and run on ceiling? House entrance is 25 feet from panel. I figure come into the main panel from the bottom is best as top is full. Here are some pics. Yes I’m cleaning up wiring. The conduit presently on panel will remain but only hold some12g for an outlet. I believe the type of wire I use will be determined by if I go on the ceiling exposed or all the way in conduit right? Other panel is a second service multi family.

Coming through to the left of window down about two feet.

Garage entrance is about where first window is on the right out of four. Will come up two feet over stem wall.
