conduit strap needed < 3 feet?

So, if box to box conduit is less than 3 feet (for example back to back bend) is there a strap needed?

It makes a difference here because it would mean offset bending to wall then offset bending to second box, instead of offset bend from box 1 to box 2.

Orion, if you do the offset bend first on the ends and then the main bends and have a little flexibility on where the 2nd box mounts, it may not be too hard to do, or at least give it a try first. If it is for outside conduits I would not use a shim for best appearance.

Or, if you cannt set the box where it ends up...make two independent offsets, then trim the long ends to fit with a coupling in the middle. If you need to....

Going to be running lines or outlets along two 36 foot walls for a woodshop on 4 foot spacing or so. appearance is irrelevant vs like 80 offsets
