Connect LFNC to rigid PVC without adding a box?

I have searched and searched, and even gotten bad answers from AI. For an outdoor lighting installation, I am considering using a short length of PVC Liquid-Tite to connect to rigid PVC tubing. Nobody seems to make a solvent weld to LFNC fitting. Is the only code compliant method to transition through a box with male adapters, or is it permissible to use a solvent weld female connector for rigid with the LFNC?

LFNC is just a sunlight resistant version of flexible PVC pipe. Like Spa-flex. It is solvent weldable (using ordinary schedule 40 or 80 fittings), but doesn't hold well with ordinary PVC cement. There are special elastomeric cements for it for water applications, but I can't say I've seen it with conduit systems.

Now I regret that I didn’t title this thread, “Is connecting LFNC to rigid PVC conduit via solvent welding a gray area?
