Connection Failure

I am a bit disappointed today; I purchased a Maxjax during the last group buy in April and I have used my MJ a few times to change the oil rotate the tires, small things. I was planning on putting it to the first real test today.

I have a bearing going bad in my rear carrier and as excited as one could be to take on this job; I thought at least I would not be laying on my back.

Unfortunately, my day started downhill right out of the gate; I lifted my vehicle last week to determine which side was making the noise and the lift worked fine. I did not leave the car on the lift during the week. This morning I pulled the car out and backed it in to give me more room to work on the rear. I unhooked the hoses and moved the hydraulic pump to the other end. Hooked up my hoses connections and the one quick connect failed. It looks like the o-ring inside the female connector is flatten on one side. I replaced the hoses to the opposite sides on the lift with the same result. The quick connector completely failed shooting fluid out from the connector. I don’t believe I did anything incorrectly last week and I had never lifted anything heavy.

I guess I was lucky this happen before I had it in mid lift.
