We have a red iron building going up in the 90 days or so, starting to procure windows and was curious what everyone is using these days. I searched some older threads and found some folks recommended against aluminum because of the galvanic corrosion concerns and other preferred vinyl flanged windows.

Just looking for any input and see what everyone is using and if anything has changed in window technology that is recommended for a new build, thanks.

Yes I am curious about this as well. Just placed my order for one and the manufacturer is steering me towards windows with "subframes" vs conventional framed openings and new construction windows. I'm still waiting on his details....

Vinyl flange windows have been very successful.

May you enjoy your new shop and good health for many years.
