A lot the topics are very general "Made in USA tool bits" or "Made in USA hammers" or what have you.
Allowing replies would encourage others to build upon the knowledge of the initial post and on those topics that are more specific, allow others to reply to offer additional information, esp when these topics are formulated as a question, e.g., "USA Exhaust Fans" which might either be a general inquiry or a list a specific maker. Allowing replies would help with qualifications (maybe a source for the OEM [if applicable] or with specific experiences someone else can have.
Some knowledge can be invaluable but that knowledge has to be built upon. A reply function is a good way to do that.
