Considering a bare concrete look... what to use?

So, after reading through GJ posts for the last week, my mind is spinning with all the options. I'm currently thinking about going with a bare concrete look, but want the qualities of an epoxy type coating. Looking for ideas...


So... here are the specifics of my application.

Approx 325 sq/ft garage. No idea how old the concrete is. House was built in the 1920', but detached garage was done in the 60's (I think). I just bought the house and moved in a few months ago. Southern California location. Garage to be used for auto/motorcycle repair and mantenance, and as a home gym. I would like a floor that is easily cleaned so my wife can work out without stepping in a giant grease/oil stain.

Looks like someone started to fill the expansion/contraction joints with filler in the past at some point, but stopped after doing just a foot or two at the intersection of the joints. This doesn't really bother me (aesthetically speaking), just don't know if that will be problematic for the product I choose to use?

What to use? I've looked at the Rust Bullet clearcoat, and the Legacy Nohr-S. Both look like they would work. Pros/Cons of each of those products? Anybody have any other ideas? I'm all ears.

I'm decently handy, would like to avoid grinding and etching if possible. However, I would like a great floor... so I'm open to it if need be.

What say the GJ experts? Thanks ahead of time!

Nohr-S is great for fast turn-around and no-mixing.
Two hours between coats.

Conventional urethanes can take up to 7 days for vehicle traffic, we are ready in as little as two.

Common auto fluids? Lets talk fuels, solvents, etc... Not an issue.

[Garage Flooring]

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you are using this as a home gym, consider safety first. GO heavy on the anti skid. Rust Bullet clear is proven over direct to concrete without etching. Granted it is not as strong as a full RB system but it looks awesome and has outstanding taber abrasion scores.

If your serious about using it as a home gym I have a box of 36 Sq. Ft. of rubber gym tiles that the manufacturer sent incorrectly to us. I can ship them no charge to you, just let me know.

Also, remind me and I will ship you a more aggressive anti skid or a higher quantity of the standard anti skid. Its hard to work out with a broken neck
