Considering this lift

I was hyped about the MaxJax, but givin I have the extra ceiling height I think I would regret not getting a full rise lift.

I found this one on Craigslist. The seller says it's 5 years old but looks like new condition. I could have this thing delivered and installed from him for $2500. He said he's installed dozens of this same lift. Does this sound like a deal, or should I hold out for a better price.

I think it's a little too high for that lift, we sell this model used lift for around $2100 installed. But keep in mind, if it seems like a good deal to you and your OK with the price then pull the trigger. His install price is great so that is a plus. I think that lift though is older then 5 years, check the serial tag it will have the two digit year in the number and will tell you when it was manufactured. Rotary has had 10K lifts since 02.

On another note you would be buying one of the best made lifts in the world....Rotary blows the cheap Chinnese import **** you see on here all the time out of the water. Ask anyone that is in the Automotive Equipment business from a sales and install side.

Ive seen those lifts at dealerships going out of business auctions go for around $1500 but you gotta take them down your self. Sweet lift though.

Rotary makes a great lift.... you'll never regret buying quality.

I paid $1800.00 for my used Weaver 9000# over ten years ago... I did the install myself. I'd compare mine with a Rotary, Mohawk or Challenger... all good products.

I looked at some used Benwil's this week... I was quoted $1200 to $1400.00 cash and carry. A good lift but not a Rotary.

I agree ... I was also considering the MaxJax just for the extra room it would leave in the garage, but -like you- I have the height and I'm sure I'd regret not getting a full size lift.

I modified a roof truss in my shop in order to use my Weaver. I think it was wirth the trouble to gain the extra clearance.

You should call US Oil in Combined Locks... they must have a ton of used lifts with all the dealers closing up shop.

There are other petroleum service companies in Milwaukee that also deal in lifts... check the yellow pages.

Seems a bit high. If it were closer to $1,500 I would call it a good deal. As far as him installing it, that is worth something too though.
