Construction and structural sub forum?

Maybe the time is right for a section covering structural parts of a garage. Things like construction methods, windows, doors, insulation, foundations, roofing, wall and ceiling coverings.

There are lots of discussions about these things, but they seem to get spread over General, free parking, or the electrical, heating and flooring sections.

I think there is enough traffic to justify this type of section now.

Anyone else think this would be a good plan?

Back in the 70s, be4 I purchased prop
Garage bild ~20x22. Roof support/construction only used 2x6 wood, don't know the species..., lots of sagging, 4feet OC spacing. What should be done to improve
the situation...
