No specific brand but for me I stay in about the middle. Too cheap its useless and too expensive I have over spent. That is a weak answer but basically something that is meant to be used for grinding or scraping I will pay a little more. I bought some cheap Dremel wheels that explode sometimes just putting them on the spindle. I went back and bought the fiberglass reinforced wheels for more money and its worth the cost.
Personally I stick to brands I trust. Cheap wire wheels have a tendency to sometimes eject wires at high speeds. This can happen with any wire wheel, but seems less likely with better brands than bottom-shelf junk.
I also used to buy cheap consumables like grinding disks, zip ties and tape until I bought a few premium products due to availability. I was so surprised at the quality difference. In the end, you get what you pay for.
This is usually the case in almost everything. I just found a Roki wire brush made for Mercedes Benz. They retail at over £10 but I obtained a cheaper deal.
