to be fair. that set is rather large and has a steel box.

none of the cheap sets are going to have a nice box and i doubt they have the range of sizes and a breaker bar

it is not worth 150 but i am not sure that 50 is right either. i have a similar set that is in that 30 -40 year old age that has held up well. one broken socket that i am sure had something to do with a bout 8 feet of cheater pipe.

Harbor Freight 20 piece set is $59.99 and you can probably use a 20% coupon too. It has 3 less sockets than this set and a plastic box.

The China sets are a little crude, but usually hold up to the force you can produce by hand. In my exp, they just dont have much resale value.

I bought a china set from Menards 20 years ago seldom use it. the ratchet is **** but I have had very long cheater pipes on the BB.They are amazing for what I paid.

I've been using those cheap 3/4 ratchets to turn engines over for years. They are clunky and cheaply made but they hold up well.

I bought a similar set 25+ years ago,

it's still alive and kicking,
I've added a few more 3/4" sockets to it over the years,
I think one of the original Chinesesium sockets was too thick walled for one project,
and even one of the replacement Craftsman's had to be shaved down a bit for "something" or other.

It's been a good go to set when working on bigger stuff,
or even just to use the large sockets to drive in axle seals.

All said,
as a Jeep guy who hates to pay anyone else to turn wrenches for me,
the set's probably only been needed 30-40 times in all the years.
But when you need it, you need it.

I'd probably grab a newer set for less money though,
when it comes to Chinese quality, newer is almost always better then older.
