Conversion of barn to garage in CZ

Hi all from east Europe, here is my little project .... revamped an old barn 33x20 feet in a garage for one car and a little space to move and work around the car.

I apologize for my English.

This was the barn before starting

I started with demolition

That looks great. Your property and the view behind your house also look great. We love international projects here, so please stick around. Your English is fine.

I spent some time in Prague and Cesky Krumlov on an amazing trip with my family in the summer of 2001. Your country is beautiful.

Wow. I'm amazed at the transformation. I sure didn't expect it to look like that. Do you have the inside done yet? If so, post up some pictures of the inside.

will follow plaster, white acrylic paint on the ceiling, painting, folding stairs to the attic, a work desk (8 feet) with cabinets, lighting, and perhaps something to the floor ... I would like to race deck or something similar

nice work, very good looking. your garage and yard has travelled forward in time from being stuck in the turn of the 20th century to the 21st century

That is fantastic..... I like the new finish on the outside. I may have chosen to keep the old brick look on the inside myself but I like what you have done.

Thank you men

original brick style I also like, but it was impossible to repair the wall, so that it looked nice, so I chose the path of sticking polystyrene 100 mm, for comparison and pulled plaster structured grain size 1.5 mm, in the interior of the structure of 0.5 mm

Very good job! The colors look great, I might have to paint my garage the same!

I really like the brick floor you have in your garage, I would keep that instead of covering it with anything, if it were mine.

That is very cool. I love the hand washing area. I (my wife) wish I had one of those!

Děkuji všem

A great transformation. What's behind the red doors on the left wall (small cabinets?)

These are the cases, both sides recessed in the wall, the actual depth is 16'' ... sticking out of the wall 2''

Terrific transformation . . . . excellent work !!

Curious what country in Europe as looks like you have mild climate?? With the water in garage, do you have heater so that it does not freeze??

Also, how thick are walls?? No insulation right, just brick and stucco concrete??

Love the transformation man

And really good idea of building the cabinets in to the wall, save much space.

Greetings from Czech Republic. Weather here is not very mild, and winter lasts six months, usually frost.

insulated polystyrene is 4''. The walls are of different widths 10'' - 17''

Water for the winter in the garage stops, the water heater I ready for installation.

It is true that the name is not very imaginative, I've thought about it, yet I can not think of anything.

I was thinking more the concept, i had envisioned someone cleaning out the horse stalls and putting in some shelving and a garage door. You went above and beyond!
