I need to replace the old style 240v plug on a generator to to a twist style L14-20 .

its a Coleman pmo524000 8hp 4000 watt geneator.

I got it for 75.00.. have it sold for 200.00 if I can make it a twist style plug.

I think I can just order a twist plug & replace the older style blade one. I'm sure I will modify the housing for it to fit.

Has anyone done this?

Any advice?

I sent a pic of the old blade style on the unit now.
Need the twist style to replace.
I know they sell adapter cords for 50.00 online.
The plug is only 8.00 on ebay
