Good Morning...! I know this is an old subject...But it's new to me...! I had googled this question and it brought to this great place and introduced me to my new hero "theoldwizard1" lol...So, this question is kind of directed at him.
I read how by use of a couple of 60 uf 400 volt motor-run cap's and a 15k/5w resistor, a fella could convert his Miller cp200 3 phase welder to work on single phase...My Question was: Would I be using the same size Capacitor's and resistor to convert my Miller Deltaweld 450 (amp) welder to single phase...?
I'm moving out of an industrial park to a place out in the "country" and didn't want to purchase a new welder...I love the one I got...!
Shout-out if you can hear me Mr. Wizard...! Thanks Everyone, I love this place...I'm gonna be a regular...Been a Machinist/Welder all my life and I probably have some stuff to share...! And i will, too...! Kevin
