Converting or adapting a log splitter to a press brake?

I've got a 28 ton horizontal/vertical log splitter. I'd like to adapt it to also serve as a light duty press brake for thick sheetmetal.
Welding isn't an issue for me and I could make dies and an anvil. Anyone tried this or have plans? Figure I could make an adapter to convert the splitting wedge.

Normally a log splitter operates too fast a stroke to be used as a press brake. Press brakes are usually used in situations where you would want to be able to control the press and make sure everything lines up to keep from breaking bearings etc.

Google is your friend for this. Just search "convert log splitter into press brake"
Plenty of videos and links to web pages on this subject.

Should work fine just check your tonnage charts. At 25 tons you can press a 1/4" thick bar a foot long. You gotta realize a small press brake is 80 tons. Die openings matter.
