Looks really sharp and is not very $$$$$ either. I used 1/2 Aluminium u channel that is usually put on the ends of plywood to protect it. i used 3m double sided tape to install them. And trust me there not moving!!!Polished them with my Harley polishing compound. There pretty clean to begin with so they polish up fAST!!.I wanted it to look like a tool box. I think I pulled it off.

looks good. interested to see how the tape fairs in the heat/cold of a garage. unless you keep yours climate controlled.

After cutting my hands all week on sheet metal and angle iron corners I can't help but notice the corners on those. Did you round them out at all or leave them be?

It's the part that's gonna fall in the ocean when
Nice idea!! I can think of a couple of places to put that to work in my garage.
Did you run the double sided tape the full length of the aluminum channel?

I notice the new doggy bed is color coordinated with the rest of the garage.
Nicely done. Your garage dog is reclining in style man.

Great idea! Any reason you decided to use double stick tape instead of a few screws?

I'd say it might be hard to run a screw into the channel from the outside. Run the screw from the inside and you might stick the screw in your finger grabbing the handle.

A bolt/nut may work better than a screw.

Guys he made the right choice on the fastener. I know a lot of people second guess it but 3M double sided "VHB" (very high bond) tape is psychotic. We use it at work to tape on the aluminum and polycarbonate exteriors on our van bodies. It is a real pain to get off if you need to, and the temp really doesn't matter as long as it is applied at a reasonable temp. It is the exact choice I would have made had I been doing that job.

And I really like the look of the whole thing, great job! I bought about 40 Mac toolbox handles at an auction once that I was planning on using on mine if I ever get going on my garage, but now I have some contending ideas to decide on.

That garage looks fantastic:bowdown: One thing I would do though is paint the legs and rungs of the stool to match the cabinets (black) and get wifey to whip up a red cushion.

The only other thing I see wrong is your clock is almost larger than your laptop :lol_hitti I think it's time for a new laptop, maybe a smaller clock, or at least a new pair of glasses. You know like momma always said, don't set too close to the TV or you'll ruin your eyes.

Wait a minute, maybe it was don't do that or you'll go blind.:dunno:

Either way!!!! :lol_hitti

Oh...and BTW people.....what you are seeing on the wall is the last Billy Bass in existence.!!!!
