The building inspector in our small town told me of getting a call from an elderly woman who was worried that her old detached garage was falling down. Upon inspection, he noticed that the ceiling was sagging, but otherwise the building didn't look too bad. He put a ladder up to the access hole in the ceiling and climbed up to look. When he turned on his flashlight, all he could see were Chevrolet engine blocks! He backed down the ladder and outside as fast as he could, and told the lady to have her grandchildren take their car parts out of the attic.I hope he’s using his ceiling space effectively as I do.
