I bought this metal cutting vertical band saw off Craigslist a while back. At first I thought it was a converted horizontal saw. But on closer inspection I saw that the cast iron base was Factory , as was the table. this is the first one of these I've seen and I can't find any info on it anywhere. It fits my needs perfectly tho.
I built the base out of 1*1*1/8" angle for a frame with OSB panels. I wanted to conserve space so I built it with a very small footprint and filled the base with concrete to keep it from being too tippy.
