My Dad died about 7 years ago. They lived in Florida at the time, and I live in Ohio. So after he died me and my brothers went to Florida to bring everything back to Ohio as my Mom was moving back. Well, I am the only one in the family who is still using tools for a living, so I got all of Dad's stuff. Since he was a journeyman pipefitter for 40 years there was a ton of stuff to bring back.

The funny thing is I have just now started to really go thru and look at every item from all of the tool boxes and tubs. So I wanted to post a few pictures of what I have found so far of items that really caught my eye.

I got some pipe wrenches and planers like that from my dad as well. Also a ratchet that looks like it must be one of the originals. I'll have dig out some of the more unusual stuff.

A few more items. The item with the cup is a collapsable cup in a tin.
I also have a bunch of old B&D power tools that are the metal casing. A few Wilton vises, and a bunch of things I haven't been able to identify. The item with rollers is for rolling smokes. I can remember me and my brother rolling cigs for him. You would prbably get tossed in jail for that these days!

I will post more as I dig into the tubs. My plan is to make a display case in my workshop to showcase alot of these things, kind of a tribute to the hard work my Dad did for years.

That floor stripping (I think that's what it is) is actually a really good idea to prevent rolling off a bench. I'm going to borrow that one because I have a couple strips in my garage. Thanks for posting.
